In Nursery, developing children’s communication and language skills is a priority – these skills are built on in the Reception year. Children are also given a solid grounding in the basic skills of literacy and numeracy, ensuring they have a positive start in Key Stage 1 as confident learners.

We nourish children’s development at every stage

We have a 30 place preschool room that offers daily sessions during school term-time. Children are eligible to join the Nursery in the term following their third birthday (September, January or April).

Full-group activities

Whether it’s storytelling, music, or group games, these activities promote teamwork and foster a fun, inclusive environment where every child feels connected and valued.

On-site Forest School

Our children enjoy regular sessions in nature – proven to regulate emotions and promote curiosity about the natural world

As a registered childcare provider, there are many options available to you to assist in paying for Nursery hours

Session Timings

Half Day: 8:45am to 11:45am and 12:00 noon to 3:00pm
All Day: 8:45am to 3:00pm

TIMINGS & COSTS

Owls Room

We offer very competitive session rates for our teacher-led nursery provision. Many private providers will add additional resource or consumables costs on to session charges. We don’t.

Independence

We aim to develop children’s independence by providing encouragement and support, and embracing a ‘can do’ philosophy.

Innovation

We value children’s ideas through involving them in planning the work they do and drawing on and extending their existing knowledge

Curiosity

We encourage children to be curious about the world around them, and aim to follow their interests.

We help children develop their social skills through opportunities to work
and play in groups, allowing them to learn collaboratively.
